Relate, Reflect and Ruminate: Trigger

Because sometimes, emotions don’t fit into bullet points and I have a flare for the dramatic.

For those feeling overwhelmed by life's chaos and seeking inner peace.

Supremely calm,

Flow on the page and mind,

A rare serenity,

A love of peace.

Loving intent an egregious interruption,

Focus broken,

The chaotic world flooding in,

Confused and unsure.

Wonderment replaced with rage,

In equivalent magnitude to its disturbance,

Where once calm meadows mused,

Now deadland tornados rage.

Each infraction another escalation,

Fury at the injustice building,

Hopes at unity lost,

Overwhelmed and overflowing.

Resignation to the loss,

Made absolute by its passing,

Anger to regret as if by accident,

Shame, the new flavour.

Now at the crossroad,

Backwards not an option,

Pressed forward to motion,

It is what next that makes the man.
