Resonating Through Shared Humanity: The Paradox of Self and Others

This is where the magic happens. Or at least the awkward self-reflection.

For those feeling torn between self-care and selflessness.

Expansive child, I feel your sheepishness and your concern that you are doing wrong by those around you. Let me be clear and kind, you gorgeous thing: learning and action are never, in and of themselves, bad. If you feel your motive is 100% devoid of consideration for others, marred in us vs. them, spinning a narrative that it is othersโ€™ fault, dear loving child, this is not you, despite your unwillingness to believe it. You take this to the extreme in that you omit yourselfโ€”it is legitimately the second purest intent, one of self-sacrifice and honourable integrity. The purest and front-running intent is inclusive of both all others and you. You do no wrong by others necessarily when you do right by yourself, unless it is devoid of their consideration. The paradoxical scales do not exist, as they are different sliders entirely and form a false dichotomy in your mind.

Joyous child, when you finally are free in this, you will be both great and happy, powerful and nuanced, and proud and humble. So many of these things exist in you, and you have begun to see them and unravel. Unlocking this time is one of removing the bulletproof glass and walking the weird world of the in-between. The deepest water always connects to the surface, as the surface connects to the deep. Your submarine vessel is becoming better designed to traverse between the two at will and in your own time. I, with such pride, look on as you learn its constructionโ€”one that brings all others along while meeting your own direction.

Gorgeous and fantastical child, bring light to all elements of your tumultuous seas!
