Resonating Through Shared Humanity: The God of Love’s Struggle
This is where the magic happens. Or at least the awkward self-reflection.
For those feeling torn between self-doubt and the drive for unapologetic self-expression.
Dedicated Bebu, you are so in tune with the world around you—I can feel it in the way you show up. Your attention is split, fixated on the things you love and the obligations in front of you. You are only concerned about being observed in this state of distracted yet focused multitudes. You are worried about what people will do to you if they feel jealous or uncomfortable with their own insecurities.
Dedicated darling, therein lies a very hard truth—it’s why you treat others in the same way, behind closed doors. It makes sense. Alas, darling boy, you are allowed by every power to express the fullness of yourself and your honed talents. The discomfort with others is a reflection of yourself. You are upset with privilege because you are upset with your own sense of not being enough. As we have discussed before, and likely will again, your dedication to others has left you blind to yourself.
Soft Bebu, please know that unapologetic self-expression is difficult only because you live your life through relation—one of your biggest skills. Your sense of self feels empty and ambiguous. Darling, it’s okay, even if it doesn’t feel like that right now. Know that your movements to improve yourself are like building a super-powered mech, one with the latest, unrivalled gear. The core of you is the pilot, and he’s not sure how to use the mech. He is not foolish, he is not small, merely lost.
Remember, you are never lost; you are right here. Panicked at your own presence of mind, looking out at others as a reflection of yourself. Could I undo what put you here… I would not, for then it would not be you with both power and discernment. Power is nothing but vanity when used without fear of the pain it might inflict.
All the hard fighters of battle who must look beyond suffering are struggling with how to be a good human when there is no enemy to fight. Yet for you, it’s a question of who is there to help. What nobler rival in the world than your own vanity, what greater cause than all others, what greater purpose than achieving both at once. It is the hardest road, and you have chosen to walk its bladed edge—oh dearest, you are the powerful god of love, dedicated to the world through yourself as a better man.
Your dedication is not to be questioned, as you have knowingly accepted a task beyond the statutes of time. How can such a man be bad for this world? This loathing and lack of celebration you feel keeps you humble—but does it serve all of humanity, you included?
Gorgeous child, you know the answer, and the blinding love sears and burns like water gulped on a dedicated body. Yet the more you hydrate, the more natural the world becomes. So parch yourself not, as this world looks not to prolong your suffering but to provide you with experiences of the joys of abundance.
You have earned, and will continue to earn, its unending love.
“Your dedication to others has left you blind to yourself, yet you are the powerful god of love, dedicated to the world through yourself as a better man.”
