Relate, Reflect and Ruminate: Reign

Because sometimes, emotions don’t fit into bullet points and I have a flare for the dramatic.

For those feeling trapped in life's illusions and burdened by societal roles, disillusioned by false perceptions, unfulfilled desires, and time's indifference.

From his castle

Safely behind the ramparts

He surveys all else

But does so blindly

From her bread stall

The humbleness of her beginning

Chirping merrily at her fortunes

Happy in her own place and way

From his gutter he has risen

Hobbled and resilient

Value in exchange for illusionary station

Never satisfying

All together they are a drama of fools

Unified only in their delusions

Inadequately prepared

The road ahead masked

The beggar sees danger

The baker sees opportunity

The lord sees desire

All wrong

Thoughts matter not

The flow of time uncaring

Barred from knowledge

Games played in vanity
