Relate, Reflect and Ruminate: The Loud

Because sometimes, emotions don’t fit into bullet points and I have a flare for the dramatic.

For those feeling trapped by fears, caught in cycles of emotion, and seeking freedom from recurring struggles.

Rushing air a still serenity

heralding its break

Fear creeping into my core

He comes

Sound not a drop

a tidal wave of insecurity

my guards raised, not enough

He comes

Thrashing, blood in the water

Fishing unseen and unlooking

All tells me to run

He comes

Jaws tight around prey

Taste not enough for lust

Caged, desperate for a way out

He comes

Nuzzling as if friend

Lonely, the victim

Building machinations for my freedom

He comes

Obedience achieved

A new friend

Strength building, masked attribution

He comes

Idyllic life

All in its place

breaking his teeth and swimming free

He comes

The next one catches

Cycles repeating

Better than before

They come

They always come

We decide the winner
