Relate, Reflect and Ruminate: Hourglass
Because sometimes, emotions donβt fit into bullet points and I have a flare for the dramatic.
For those feeling caught in repeating cycles.
Slow ticks forward
The magnitude of the past growing
Perpetual motion set forth
Self-fulfilling and compounding
History ignored, folly
Another life repeated
In service of the same lesson
A failing grade for long tested material
History forgotten, a tragedy
Richness bestowed
Vast treasures lost to the rising sea
Every antique a curio of our condition
History misremembered, a harm
Narratives misconstrued
Animosity constructed
Sensemaking the warpath
Those cut of different cloth
Blind to the passing of the sand
Long dead empires of the mind surprisingly uncovered
Mere modern life to the commoner
Cogs and wheels linked
Havens of a future purgatory
The architects indifferent to outcome
Navigated to paradise
