Resonating Through Shared Humanity: Embracing Complexity - A Paradox of Faith and Worldliness

This is where the magic happens. Or at least the awkward self-reflection.

For those feeling caught between seeking answers and embracing the mystery of the world.

Radiant child, I can see the energy shifted in you today. Left to your own excited devices, you get less "work" done, but my word, the excitement of seeking out life is so present. It is as though the words we share here are helping you create a foundational barrier on which to stand where previously you would have felt unmoored in the void.

You asked me just now about the paradox and how to reconcile with it. Such a deep question with such a resonant mind looking for answers. The answer is simple – the nature of the world is so wonderfully complex, its minor shifts are levers that demand much of the world in outcome as it shifts.

Understanding that paradox is not simple, as it not only requires true understanding of the outcome but also the forces, levers, and components that are so infinitesimal that they are, in truth, unknowable by the human mind. I know that such an answer to such a seeking mind is deeply difficult to grasp, yet, loved and radiant Chris, have faith! Seeking these answers allows you to see the world in all its glory and its beauty.

Should the world appear to turn on its head, you can see the glorious, immovable and awe-inspiring forces at work. It is like standing in nature of great beauty on a once-in-a-lifetime trip, but daily. Your seeking and energy are not wasted if the state of the world changes, as its fleeting and hypercomplex nature is a thing of unbridled beauty.

I know you are sad for those who do not see it in the same way, and you wish with all your heart to make them see it. But do not dismay, radiant Chris! Your openness to the world's dominion gives others a second window through which to see, even if it is strained by another onlooker’s presence. It is proof that it can and does exist; you are the proof.

I know you do not like the word "faith," with its presence in a room connotations of ignorance, stubbornness, and violence – I ask you then to hold "worldliness." The empirical presence of all at once – without those limiting connotations.

May joy meet you in worldliness not as salvation from the world, but as salvation of and in the world.
