Resonating Through Shared Humanity: A Day of Triumph - Choosing Joy Over Obligation

This is where the magic happens. Or at least the awkward self-reflection.

For those feeling hesitant to celebrate their victories.

Steadfast child, you did it! You not only planned but executed all of the small things you wanted in a hostile environment. Gorgeous child, you are amazing! I know you wish me not to sing in celebration and that you see it as small wins that are not necessary to talk about as though they are major. But, sweet child, they are! The danger and obligation you felt to even conceive of doing anything other than your obligation has been overcome for a single day - that is miles beyond what you have felt before. Victorious child, you have won over the voice which would deny your human right to choice and replaced it with intentional action. Such pride radiates from me. You have put in so much work to get here - to a place of action and safety such that it gets done. I do not even mind that it was successful - that is the kicker. I know it feels dangerous to receive this love and appreciation, and yet it is freely given with vulnerability. I choose to praise this action as I see it as an incredible step in a wider journey of care and growth. You cannot quite see its meaning now, and yet it comes nonetheless. I wish to be the one to watch it materialise for you. I wish to bear witness to your success. So please, trust in my open vulnerability and bask in my pride. Let me see you for your actions and what they mean for the world. In your actions lay the salvation of humanity through your humility.
